Bay Model: Call of the Sea Tall Ship Celebration

Save the Date: Call of the Sea Tall Ship Celebration. The Call of the Sea Tall Ship Celebration will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 at the Bay Model Visitor Center in Sausalito. The event will include:

• Free tours of tall ship, brigantine Matthew Turner
• Bay Model tours
• Traditional Rope Making Demo
• Fun Marine Science Exploration
• Educational activities by the Sailing Science Center
• Old time tunes by the Waterfront Pickers

Family Fun on the Waterfront!

Activities:

• 10 am-1 pm:  Tour the ship
• 10 am-1 pm:  Tie knots, make rope and learn about the art of sailing
• 11 am-2 pm: Learn about the science of sailing, waves and much more
• 11:30 am-1:30 pm:  Paella, ice cream and beverages available for purchase
• 11 am-1pm: Hear old-time tunes
• 2 pm-5 pm: Join a sail on Matthew Turner, advance ticket purchase required

In addition to touring the tall ship, brigantine MATTHEW TURNER, attendees can enjoy a tour of the Bay Model, free educational activities and old-time tunes by local favorites the Waterfront Pickers and fun educational activities by the Sailing Science Center.
