Sausalito Woman’s Club: Prospective New Member Open House

Friends and Neighbors Wanted – Our Club has Membership Openings!!

We are having a Prospective New Member Open House on Wednesday, April 8 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Club. Please be thinking about any friends or neighbors that you think might be interested in joining the Club. Bring them with you to the Open House so they can learn more about the Club. This is a casual drop in event, but we still need to know how many will be coming so RSVP to Donna Bachle at donna_bachle@yahoo.com.

Please be aware that changes to the Bylaws were made last Spring regarding sponsorship. The revisions are noted in bold.

Revised: “The application shall be signed by three sponsors. The primary Sponsor shall have been a member of the Club for one (1) year and shall be in good standing and shall have known the applicant personally for at least one (1) year. The Co-sponsors shall have been a member for one (1) year and shall be in good standing and shall have known the applicant personally for six (6) months. Board members may also sponsor or co-sponsor new applicants. Any Board member who sponsors a potential new member shall recuse herself from any board vote on the admission of that potential new member. Sponsors and Co-sponsors shall not be related to the applicant or to each other. A member can sponsor or co-sponsor up to two (2) applicants per year.
