SUMMARY:Sausalito Village: Weekly Poetry
DESCRIPTION:Ongoing Poetry Group\n\n\nSV volunteer and member\, Lucinda Watson\, facilitates a weekly poetry writing group hosted by Sausalito Village. The group meets weekly for one hour on Zoom\, with the purpose of writing\, sharing\, and deepening our engagement with poetry. \nLucinda brings years of experience and is listed in Poets & Writers. Her 2021 Poetry Collection was published by Golden Antelope Press and she holds a master’s degree in writing. Her vision is to create a space that is focused\, inspiring\, and fully centered on poetry—rather than small talk. \nEach week\, members will have the opportunity to read their work aloud and request the type of feedback they prefer: either constructive/critical or positive-only\, depending on comfort level and personal goals. This approach makes the group welcoming to both beginning poets and those with more experience. \nRSVP for the recurring Zoom link. \nEvent calendar: https://sausalito.helpfulvillage.com/events?neighborhood=SV

SUMMARY:Sausalito Village: Deep listening Session with Misha Bruk
DESCRIPTION:Deep listening Session with Misha Bruk \n\n\nMon 05 / 11 / 2026\n3:00 PM to 5:00 PM\n\nWhere\nPrivate home in Sausalito\n\nWho can attend\nMembers and Volunteers (login required)\nLimited Capacity: 7 spots available \nPrice\nDonation of $25-40 suggested\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nRegister for this event \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\nDeep Listening/Deep Speaking \nAn experiential session of stepping into presence\, connection\, and soul-contact. We all share a fundamental need to be truly seen\, deeply witnessed\, and genuinely heard. Just as deeply\, we long to reconnect with something real beneath the noise of daily life — a sense of profound inner truth\, a greater self we know is within us. In this experiential Deep Listening / Deep Speaking session\, we begin by slowing down and settling into embodied presence. From there\, participants work in pairs\, taking turns holding space for one another — listening without fixing\, advising\, or performing. \nAs the surface layers soften\, something quieter and more authentic emerges. People often find themselves reconnecting with their own inner knowing — and with one another — in a way that feels both grounding and expansive. This work gently softens the boundary between the visible and the invisible\, allowing what is usually hidden behind roles\, stories\, and habits to gently emerge. \nParticipants often leave with: \n\nA felt shift in their internal state\nA deeper connection to themselves\nA renewed capacity to listen — to others and to their own inner guidance\nEmotional spaciousness\, clarity\, and ease\nA sense of belonging — to themselves\, to others\, and to the moment\nNo prior experience is needed.\n\nThis is not therapy\, performance\, or problem-solving — it is an invitation into presence. \nAbout the Facilitator \nMisha Bruk is a listener\, guide\, and creative who has spent decades working at the intersection of presence\, perception\, and human connection. Through his work as a photographer\, filmmaker\, and facilitator\, he helps people soften habitual defenses\, dissolve surface noise\, and reconnect with the deeper intelligence beneath their identity. Misha has a natural ability to create coherent\, grounded spaces where people feel safe to slow down\, be seen\, and listen — both inwardly and outwardly. His work invites the soul forward in real time\, allowing insight\, clarity\, and connection to arise organically. \nThe home address will be provided when you register. Sessions last one and a half to two hours. Suggested donation to Misha – $25 – 40 \n\n\n\n
