DESCRIPTION:Announcing Headlands’ 2026 Artists in Residence\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe springs\, the summers\, and the autumn slowly pass\, 2024\, Acrylic and oil on canvas\, 76 x 96 inches. Work by Yameng Lee Thorp.\n\n\n\nWe are pleased to share the full Artist In Residence list for the Spring\, Summer\, and Fall 2026 cohorts. Artists from Poland to Botswana to Texas will join us on our campus\, developing new work in our studios and in dialogue with one another and the extraordinary landscape that surrounds us. Artists in Residence receive financial support and gather for chef-prepared meals in our Mess Hall four days per week—an essential part of the exchange that shapes the Headlands residency experience. We hope you’ll come and visit us at an Open House or for one of our monthly suppers and get to know this amazing new 2026 cohort!\n\n\n\nSpring Open House 2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen\nSunday\, April 26\, 12–5PM\n\n\nWhere\nHeadlands Center for the Arts\n\n\nPrice\nFree\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOpen House provides a once-a-season opportunity to roam the various buildings of our campus\, meet current artists\, view works in progress\, and attend screenings\, performances\, and readings. See what Artists in Residence and Graduate Fellows are up to in their studios\, stop by the Project Space to view in-progress installations\, and enjoy a house-made lunch from the Mess Hall. \nParking is limited. If you can\, we encourage you to carpool or bike. Get more info on transportation and directions. \nFirst-floor spaces in use for this event (Mess Hall\, Key Room\, Latrine\, The Commons\, first-floor studios) are accessible to people with mobility aids.
